Rimini attracts plenty of visitors both in summer and in winter. The first bathing establishment was founded in 1943, and since then Rimini has experienced outstanding growth and numerous villas and vacation homes have been built along the coast. Tourism here is very varied; in summer tourists are attracted by bathing establishments, hotels and beach clubs, while in winter they flock to the Exhibition Centre, the Spa Establishment and the charming old town characterized by charming narrow streets.
